The bollard is made in steel powder-coated in standard colour black.
The top is made of cast aluminium. The lighting unit contains LEDs and electric cables.
Aluminium recycled from scrap, hand cast in sand moulds. The energy consumption when producing recycled aluminium is about 5% of that used when producing virgin aluminium.
Nola uses high-quality steel with good strength in our products. Steel rusts if left untreated and must therefore be surface treated.
Powder coating is a coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint, powder coating is usually applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light. The result is an even, hard-wearing coloured surface with the desired gloss level.
Some assembly required. A qualified electrician is required to connect the lighting unit to the mains electrical supply.
The bollard is manufactured with electrical cables drawn through its hollow core. A certified electrician is required to connect the electrical circuits to mains power supply. Please see the installation manual for full details.
Maintenance on aluminium is not normally needed, but make sure to wash and keep the material clean. Untreated aluminium develops a matte surface over time.
Products that are powder-coated can be touch-up painted with alkyd paint.
