The Parco park bench is contemporary in style and generous in proportions. This versatile bench is available in several standard colours, in woods such as in FSC-marked jatoba and with armrests or without. Like the other designs in the Parco furniture group, the park bench can be ground-mounted to provide a permanent fixture in the landscape, public spaces or private courtyards. The bench can be paired with other Parco designs to create customised seating arrangements

Metal parts are made from zinc-electroplated, powder-coated steel. Steel parts can be powder-coated in standard colours red RAL 2001, grey RAL 7022 or light grey RAL 9006. Wooden parts can be painted in standard colours red NCS S 2070-Y70R or grey NCS S 8000-N. Please note that painted wood is only available for products remaining in Sweden as the paint may be adversely affected in other climates.

Assembly and placement

The seat and backrest are pre-assembled, ready to be bolted to the base after delivery with the bolts included. Bolts for attaching the base to the surface are not included.

The legs can be extended for casting in concrete 40 cm beneath the surface or for bolting into the ground. The bolt-holes have a diameter of 13 mm for a M12 bolt.

Maintenance

Scratches can be repainted with alkyd oil enamel. Wood should be oiled regularly.

Broberg & Ridderstråle

Stockholm based Broberg & Ridderstråle Design & Architecture is founded and run by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle. The duo met at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack) where they both studied furniture and interior design. Today they work within the fields of architecture and design. Their design method is based on the traditional craft, where they often gather inspiration from their daily lives only to then add a new twist to the design that lifts the product to a new level.
