Taking the cylinder as the starting point, the designer transformed it into this sleek litterbin for indoor use. Strikt is crafted in proportions that remain true to a cylindrical shape, while cleverly concealing the lid and liner inside. Free of embellishments and decorative elements, Strikt’s streamlined shape brings minimalist design to public space.

Steel

Nola uses high-quality steel of good strength in our products. Steel rusts if left untreated and must therefore be surface treated. For this we use two main methods for surface treatment of steel parts; electrogalvanizing and powder coating as well as hot-dip galvanizing.

Powder coating

Powder coating is a coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint, powder coating is usually applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light. The result is an even, hard-wearing coloured surface with the desired gloss level.
