Partition

Space is a flexible partition system designed to create spatiality within a room. With its different components, one straight and one curved, one can easily partition, enclose, and embrace, establishing intimacy and possibly creating a little space for oneself. The floral pattern contributes a transparency that offers both seclusion and translucency, depending on the situation and needs. The screens are crafted from aluminum, which makes them easy to maneuver while maintaining a high level of stability when being mounted to the ground. The surface is matte-coated and weather-resistant.

The trellis is made of aluminum and the post in stainless steel.

Aluminium

Aluminum is a soft light metal that is silvery to gray in color. Depending on the alloy, aluminum usually has good corrosion resistance. It is common for the aluminum to be extruded into tubes or rolled into a plate in the desired material thickness.

Stainless steel

Stainless steel is an iron alloy with at least 10.5% chromium that often has good resistance to corrosion (rust) and other chemical attacks. A common misconception about stainless steel is that it does not rust at all; it can in fact corrode, especially in environments near the sea with high humidity.

Powder coating

Powder coating is a coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint, powder coating is usually applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light. The result is an even, hard-wearing coloured surface with the desired gloss level.

Surface mount

Can be bolted above ground, to the floor or to a cast-in-place foundation. Bolts not included.

Products that are powder-coated can be touch-up painted with alkyd paint if necessary.
