Steel Trellis

Design Bernt Fröderberg

Trellises add a decorative touch, whether mounted directly to a structure or erected in the landscape. This wall-mounted trellis is designed to enhance buildings as it promotes the growth of trailing vines. It may also be attached to garden walls to add a decorative feature. Materials and surface treatments

Steel

Nola uses high-quality steel with good strength in our products. Steel rusts if left untreated and must therefore be surface treated.

Hot-dip galvanized

Hot-dip galvanizing provides very strong protection against corrosion. The steel is dipped into a bath of hot liquid zinc. The zinc attaches and creates a surface coating on the steel part, which is then taken out of the bath and drained of excess zinc.

Powder coating

Powder coating is a coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint, powder coating is usually applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light. The result is an even, hard-wearing coloured surface with the desired gloss level.

Designers

Bernt Fröderberg

Bernt Fröderberg is a landscape architect MSA with long and broad experience. The projects span everything from private gardens, homes, parks to complex road environments.

— In my role as a designer, I hope to be able to bring a care for the built details in the green environment that enhances the final impression even in relatively everyday construction projects. The importance of well-designed solutions in the slightly more prestigious assignments can hardly be underestimated. My starting points in the design work are, among other things, to use renewable materials and to give the built detail a long life.
