Design

Wooden barrels make attractive planters, whether combined with a base or placed directly on the ground. Planters have been made in this style for several hundred years, decorating palaces as well as parks. Kaprifol is based on a traditional style found in an eighteenth-century park near Stockholm, and made with traditional wooden staves and metal parts.

Materials

Oiled Red Oak.

The planter is made from untreated oak slats with steel straps.

Assembly and placement

Fully assembled. The planter and base are delivered separately.

Maintenance

Any scratches to the painted metal parts can be repainted using alkyd oil enamel. The wooden parts should be oiled as needed.
