Materials

Fiberglass-reinforced Plastic.

The litterbin is made from reinforced fibreglass plastic in standard colours white RAL 9010 or anthracite RAL 7016. The lid and pedestal base are made from electroplated, gold-chromed powder-coated steel.

Assembly and placement

Some assembly required. The lid attaches to the bin and the bin attaches to the pedestal base with the screws provided.

The supporting post is extended by 40 cm for casting directly into concrete. The base may also be bolted to the ground with three M10 bolts.

Maintenance

Scratches can be repainted with alkyd oil enamel.

Variants

Freestanding or attachable. The attachable version bolts to the surface with three M10 bolts. The bolts are not included. The litterbin can be lacquered in a choice of RAL colours for an additional fee.

Thomas Bernstrand

Designer Thomas Bernstrand, who owns his own design studio in Stockholm, has participated in a large number of design and art exhibitions around the world such as MoMA in New York, Colette in Paris, Biennale Design Saint-Etienne and others.

Bernstrand has received several awards for his work, including Excellent Swedish Form and Winner of the Good Design Award 2012 for Nolastolen Share. For Nola, Bernstrand has designed a large number of products and furniture series and participated in a number of special projects over the years.
