See You at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2025!

2024–09–17

Since the late 1980s, Nola has been a regular at Stockholm Furniture Fair. For us, it’s more than just a tradition – it’s a key part of our year. We look forward to being there again in 2025 and hope to see you there too.

Spring is often seen as a time for fresh beginnings – whether it’s a new term, a new chapter, or even a new haircut. But for us at Nola, it means one thing: getting ready for the Furniture Fair in February. The months leading up to it are always packed with excitement as we fine-tune new product designs, develop creative concepts, and prepare for a week full of meetings, events, and inspiration.

“Stockholm Furniture Fair is where we connect with the design community and build relationships with both emerging and established designers. In a world that’s increasingly digital, we still strongly believe in the value of face-to-face connections. Some of our most iconic products started here. I first met some of our designers over 30 years ago at this event, and we’re still working together today. I’ve also had the privilege of mentoring up-and-coming designers in Greenhouse. It’s a vital platform for us in the Swedish design scene,” says Nola’s founder, Agneta Stake.

Korg Hammock by Thomas Bernstrand was presented at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2024.

Setting the Tone for the Year

For us at Nola, the fair sets the tone for the entire year. February is the moment where we show who we are and how we think, both through our new launches and our classic designs.

The past few years have presented their share of challenges for the trade show – from the pandemic to economic pressures. But with fresh energy, the fair has evolved, now showcasing a wide spectrum of design, from craftsmanship to architecture. It’s become an essential space for reflecting on where we’re headed as an industry, and for sparking meaningful conversations.

Verv Rocking Chair, designed by Fanny Axnér & Siri Boekhout, is another product that was presented at the fair, as part of Nola’s Greenhouse Bar in 2023.

“For a forward-thinking company like Nola, being part of Stockholm Furniture Fair is crucial, and we’re always looking for new ways to engage. For instance, in 2023, instead of a traditional booth, we took over the Greenhouse café, with a zero-waste approach. It turned into a lively meeting spot where parts of the speaker programme were held,” says Nola’s CEO Henrik Edlund.
