A Spatial Exhibition Stand for Relaxation and Reflection

2024–01–22

The anticipated Stockholm Furniture Fair approaches with swiftness and we are excited to extend an invitation to our stand. As in previous years, Anki Gneib and Mia Cullin are the creative minds behind our meeting place, and this year, our ambition remains zero waste.

Many of us are eagerly anticipating this year's design week with great expectations. It's not just the furniture fair facing significant challenges, but the entire industry at large. The ways we meet, do business, and consume have rapidly evolved, and we all struggle to adapt to new circumstances.

With that said, we hope this year's design week will be something truly unique. The theme for this year is perhaps best described as a winter garden for relaxation and contemplation.

“We have designed Nola's stand as an oasis, a place that invites you to take a break from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by budding greenery, with a reminder of spring,” say Anki Gneib and Mia Cullin.

This wintry nature room is framed by two towering wooden pavilions designed by architect Mattias Rubin de Lima. The stand is furnished with this spring's new releases and carefully selected products from Nola's range. This includes both inside the pavilions and in the courtyard created between the wooden structures. Among this year's new releases are products from designers such as Färg & Blanche, White Architects, Thomas Bernstrand, Andreas Klippinge, and SuperLab.

“As always, environmental concerns, reuse, and responsibility are top priorities for Nola, which is why we continue to work with recycled and borrowed materials. An example is a floor made from recycled bricks that will be returned to Bruksspecialisten after the fair,” say Anki and Mia.

As in previous years, all products in the stand are for sale, with some already sold and destined for their projects after the fair.

We hope to see you there.
Welcome to Nola at booth A03:18.

2024

Since the late 1980s, Nola has been a regular at Stockholm Furniture Fair. For us, it’s more than just a tradition – it’s a key part of our year. We look forward to being there again in 2025 and hope to see you there too.

The Malmö City Urban Development Award 2024 goes to Hyllievång Park. A big round of applause to the City of Malmö’s Property and Streets Department and the landscape architects at Plot Studio. We are proud to have provided the Four Seasons parasols and the Gard long-table furniture system for this park, which truly exudes a playful and inviting atmosphere.

At Nola, we continue to expand the number of EPDs across our product range. In addition to popular products like Luma, Four Seasons, and the Kajen sun lounger, the Hjorthagen and Parco furniture series are now also certified.

As the calm settles, we reflect on the design week and can once again confirm that things are best done together. Therefore, we extend a big thank you to all visitors, partners, and designers who made Stockholm Design Week and the Furniture Fair a successful and enjoyable event.
