During this year’s Stockholm Design Days, we are participating in Scandinavian Design Embassy – a curated meeting of selected design brands hosted at the residence of the Finnish ambassador in Stockholm. Across the different rooms of the residence, temporary pop-up installations form a unique meeting point between Swedish and Finnish design.
We are highlighting furniture designed for all generations, and the products on display reflect our mission to create public spaces where people can meet – regardless of age, ability, or circumstance.
“A vibrant and welcoming urban environment should offer something for everyone – and last across generations, for all generations,” says Henrik Edlund, CEO of Nola.
Selected products
Our installation features the children’s armchair Frank by David Taylor – a robust yet inviting design in sand-cast aluminium. The rocking chair Verv, designed by Fanny Axnér and Siri Boekhout, invites to both rest and relaxation, as well as play. The bench Aros by Alexander Morén, with its urban character and solid construction, is made for places where young people gather, while the planters Cacti by Anki Gneib and Pots by Broberg & Ridderstråle bring greenery and a sense of spatial rhythm.
Stockholm Design Days takes place 3–5 February.
