Nola is exhibiting in the Swedish Design Pavilion during the London Design Fair, September 19th - 22nd, showing design news and classics. A joint venture with prominent Swedish designers and companies, to raise awareness about Swedish architecture and design, in collaboration with Form/Design Center Malmö.
The Swedish Design Pavilion is the annual showcase for Swedish designers, studios and companies, and a celebration to wood as a beautiful, sustainable material.

In the Swedish pavilion, Nola will showcase acclaimed design news such as the lightweight and sleek Basket furniture group, design Ola Gillgren and elegant Cacti planters and hanging baskets, design Anki Gneib, along with our classic Cane backed bench, design Broberg & Ridderstråle and contemporary furniture group 11 th, by Axel Bjurström.
The Swedish design pavilion is a partnership with, among others, Swedish Wood, Business Sweden, Region Skåne, FORM Magazin, Architects Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden in London. The Studio Förstberg Ling has been appointed curator & architect for the 2019 edition of the Swedish pavilion.

Nola contributed to academic research at Malmstens Linköpings University, exploring how to make urban environments healthier. Researchers say greener cities, urban parks and agile placemaking can make a big difference.

Nola’s new memorial markers respect historic places and honour special people. They were installed at the memorial grove at the ancient Alstadhaug Cemetery, which received local and national awards in Norway during 2019.

Nola was asked to provide furniture for the 2017 Swedish-Norwegian pavilion at the world-famous Cannes Film Festival. We included eco-friendly designs from Nina Jobs’ Rocky series and Gro planters by Mia Cullin.
We are proud to exhibit together with the magazine Tidskriften RUM in a group exhibition on the 9th to 14th of April at Bagni Misteriosi Milan, during Milan Design Week.
