Known for its capacity to create inclusive gathering places for people of all ages, fitness levels or training abilities, the Kebne Outdoor Gym series was installed at the University of Liège in Belgium. The University of Liège takes fitness seriously, offering students and staff more than 70 opportunities for sports and training on campus and at near-by sites. The Kebne outdoor gym consists of five free-standing fitness units that provide a full-body workout. None of the fitness units contain levers, pulleys or moving parts of any kind, making them uniquely maintenance-free.
The Kebne modules were installed within a pavilion development renovated to provide high-end accommodation for students and research associates. Kebne is a natural complement to the hi-tech gym facility inside the main building, providing areas for warm up, cool down and stretching in addition to resistance training to improve fitness. Each unit has a corresponding sign with easy-to-understand icons that illustrate the exercises it is designed for.
Kebne is an excellent choice for built environments, such as neighbourhood squares, school campuses, parks and urban green lanes.
