In addition to its own range, Nola provides other brands that complement its selection. Bålsta Transit Centre is a prime example of how specific requirements can be met through this approach.
The location coordinates traffic and services around the railway station, including bus terminals, taxi services, and parking. With a high flow of people and intensive use, products with exceptional durability were required.
“We aimed to create a space that was inviting for both meetings and as a hub for travellers, with appealing furniture and products. Accessibility was a crucial factor in our selection, and the furniture needed to be robust and durable,” explains Håbo Municipality's planning engineer.
In response to these requirements, the interior space was furnished with Nola's Paxa bench. For the exterior, Bellitalia's Onda bench and Venere planters, made from terrazzo concrete, were used, as well as bench tables from Danish Jessing, made from Jatoba wood – one of the hardest types of timber available.
Nola's expandable recycling system, Repeat by Björn Dahlström, also helps travellers dispose of their waste responsibly.
