A low-key bench with a clear design expression for most environments. Paxa Steel has a frame in of hot-dipped galvanized steel, but differs in the other not from Paxa bench. The bench can either be used as a solitary bench or linked together in several sections. Paxa Steel is available in two different lengths with seat in three different materials.

Materials

Mahogany.
Oiled Red Oak.
Hot-dip galvanized steel.
Cover-glazed Pine / Beech.

The frame is made of hot-dipped galvanized steel. Seat in painted pine in grey NCS S 6000 N, or alternatively, oiled oak or mahogany.

Additional description number

E for oak.
MH for mahogany.
G for painted gray pine.

Assembly and placement

Delivered in sections for final assembly on site. The seat is mounted with bolts.

The frame has holes for attachment against the ground.

Maintenance

The oiled mahognyn and oak should be maintained on a regular basis, (one to two times per year). Both materials will, over time, turn to gray. The grey painted pine can be painted with alkyd paint if needed.

Blenda Design

Blenda is a designstudio based in Gothenburg, committed to designing furniture for public spaces. With design that works towards both interiors and urban exteriors, they have participated in many projects in the recent years. The products can be found across Sweden, for example in Stavanger Cultural Center, Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm, Arlanda Airport and Gothenburg City library. The studio is run by landscape architect Katarina Gunnarsson and Ingemar Holmlid.
