Parasols Draw Attention at Munkbrohamnen

We congratulate Nyréns Arkitektkontor, whose quay balcony at Munkbrohamnen in Stockholm's Old Town has been nominated for the 2025 Stockholm Building of the Year award.
We are delighted to see the Four Seasons parasols acting as identity markers for the site. From a distance, they signal a space for relaxation, social interaction and stunning views over Riddarfjärden.

“With simple means such as jetties, a beach and sun loungers, a former backside has been transformed into a front and given Stockholmers close access to Lake Mälaren in an urban setting.”
