Skåne’s architectural prize is given by Sweden’s architects and presented by the region of Skåne to highlight environments created at a noteworthy level of quality and nature.
Nola’s backed bench Plymå, made in concrete, designed by Mattias Stenberg, was specifically made in a larger model to fit the award winning square. The backed bench has an integrated table surface in black lacquered wooden rib. The public square is designed by the architectural team Skåne and the landscape architect Susanna Kapusta of Malmö city. Holma square placed in joint second place, the first prize went to HamnOasen, located in Landskrona.

Two of the six public tenders for the renovation projects at Stockholm’s historic Skogskyrkogården cemetery have been awarded to Nola. We will provide a range of outdoor products sympathetic to the site and respectful of the visitors’ needs.
Nola has participated with the refurbishing of the popular Kirkeparken in Tromsø, Norway.
Nola has participated in the furnishing of the new outdoor seating area at the Nordic Light Hotel in Stockholm.
The Norwegian Association of Landscape Architects awarded their 2018 annual landscaping prize to Asplan Viak AS for projects completed in Oslo’s Grünerløkka and St. Hanshaugen neighbourhoods.
Nola present new designs and collection highlights at the Swedish pavilion at the Salone del Mobile in Milan from 17 – 22 April 2018. We’ll join other Swedish design brands featured in this year’s ‘Stories of Home’ theme.
The City of Stockholm bought a number of planters from Nola to install on city streets. Replacing traffic barriers with planters in an excellent way to bring more greenery to the city centre.
