Nola’s Outdoor Office Products in Rooftop Workplace

Nola teamed up with Castellum to create an outdoor workspace on the rooftop of their Koppartorget TRE office development in Västerås, Sweden. We had worked with Castellum previously, taking our outdoor office products to Castellum’s WorkOUT expo in 2017 before presenting them at the Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair the following year.
The outdoor office was designed with ergonomics in mind, providing scope to sit or stand in meetings and while working at designated workstations. The spatial concept was agile, providing flexible spaces for meeting rooms and open areas where workers could form clusters to work together. Wireless WiFi access was provided throughout the site, and power points were installed outdoors for easy access. Nola contributed to the design scheme with tables, sun loungers, armchairs and planters. Comfortable, durable and waterproof, the products created individual workstations or seating arrangements.
The range of products chosen for the site included the following:
Sunbed seats designed by Peter Ekroth
Arena tables designed by Mattias Stenberg
Cake/Sun/Dot tables designed by Monica Förster
Tables and chairs from the Rocky furniture group designed by Nina Jobs
Grid armchairs from Komplot
Djurgårdsbrunn chairs designed by Bärndal & Rehm
Parco standing table designed by Broberg & Ridderstråle
Scoop Moonlight planter designed by Julie Storm
