Badhusbryggan wins Sigtuna Municipality’s Architecture Prize

2025–11–21

We congratulate White Arkitekter, whose project Badhusbryggan has been awarded Sigtuna Municipality’s Architecture Prize 2025. The new public space by the shores of Lake Mälaren merges history, nature and city life – with a contemporary yet respectful design approach.

What was once an asphalted surface has been transformed into an inviting living room by the water, where people can sit, stroll, meet and experience the changing seasons.

The jury praised the project’s simplicity, precision and sensitivity to place – highlighting how Badhusbryggan, with its open and accessible design, invites everyone to pause, connect and be present by the water.

Nola is proud to have contributed with furniture that supports both calm and connection. The site features Kajen benches and Ljusnan accessory tables with integrated lighting that provide safety and atmosphere, even after dark.
