Additional EPDs for Popular Products

2024–09–09

At Nola, we continue to expand the number of EPDs across our product range. In addition to popular products like Luma, Four Seasons, and the Kajen sun lounger, the Hjorthagen and Parco furniture series are now also certified. You can find the documents for download in the right column on each product page.

By providing EPDs for our products, we aim to make it clearer and easier to specify and use Nola’s range in projects that require high sustainability standards. EPDs play a central role in sustainable building by detailing the environmental impact of materials and products. This information is crucial for achieving leading environmental certifications like LEED or BREEAM, which in turn can be vital for a project's success—and ultimately, for the planet.

What is an EPD?

An EPD, or Environmental Product Declaration, is an environmental certification that provides detailed information about a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire lifecycle. For us at Nola, this means documenting and reporting on a product’s environmental effects from raw material extraction through production and use, to waste management or recycling. By doing this, Nola contributes to more transparent and informed choices in the building process.
